Jacobsen Renovation
Recently our head office Jacobsen, underwent renovations which meant new flooring and therefore new Tredsafe stair nosings! Below you can see the vinyl having been laid on the staircase, bar the space for the nosings to be installed. The PVC nosings were installed over the wooden stairs, being screw fixed first with insert laid in the nosing. Before Using a rigid PVC UP121 stair nosing with Neutral Black 106 insert, the newly carpeted stairs were transformed with a matching stair nosing which neatly finished off the edge of the stairs. This has created a safe access way on both stairwells of the building, providing anti-slip properties for users and protecting the stair edges from wear and tear. The diamond patterned insert reduces the chance of slips and falls while the riser prevents scuffing off the stair edge, preventing the carpet from wearing away. After The black PVC subtly fits into the dark carpet interiors and its sleek design adds an architectural touch to the stairs. The PVC nosings have been used both on vinyl and on carpet throughout the Jacobsen offices and are a feasible option for both interior and exterior stairs. Jacobsen is based at 41 Morrin Road, Mt.
