Tredsafe & SBN Helping Plant Trees and Save Jobs

Tredsafe are proud to have a membership with the Sustainable Business Network here in New Zealand. The Sustainable Business Network (SBN) is New Zealand’s largest, longest-standing sustainable business organisation and their purpose is to empower businesses so people and nature prosper.    Five percent of our membership fee goes to restoring our nation’s waterways and together we’re making a real impact. New Zealand’s water ways desperately need your help and Million Metres is the answer to that. Their project of restoring one million metres of New Zealand waterways with native plants and trees is slowly working. Million Metres helps local groups and landowners restore the banks of their stream, river or wetland with native plants and the plants improve water quality and help prevent sediment and other pollutants from entering the water. They also restore native biodiversity and habitat which is essential to generating our ocean environment too. We are glad to be a part of leaving a green legacy from this time onward that will last for generations. In doing so, we can send a practical signal that New Zealand is taking the green recovery seriously.  Find out more at Sustainable Business Network
