Stanmore Primary School is based in Stanmore Bay, in the Whangaparaoa Peninsula. The school recently installed Tredsafe stair nosings to enhance the anti-slip properties of the exterior wooden stairs but added different coloured inserts to create a rainbow effect. 

Using an AA122 profile, the insert colours included Signal Yellow, Safety Red, Safety Blue, Safety Green and Safety White. Not only do the nosings create a colorful staircase, they create a safe access way for children, reducing the chances of slipping and tripping on the stairs, especially in wet conditions. 

The funky coloured stair case is a great way to keeps stairs safe but fun at the the same time.
