The new, indoor bus exchange is based in the center of Christchurch City on the corner of Lichfield St and Colombo St. Featuring our latest install of 161m2 of Connexx Modular Matting in the new Christchurch Bus Exchange.

Our durable Connexx modular matting was the perfect solution for this new terminal with heavy traffic flows. This is combined with tactile pacers for sight impaired passengers that direct you to the bus bays and doors to board buses. The Roaming Giant

Connexx Matting with DT080 frame installed at the front entrance of the Roaming Giant restaurant in Hamilton.

This matting with its high absorbency inlay ensures restaurant floors are kept free of debris and water trampled in by customers. The black mottled colour was chosen to disguise any long term stains and for its high end quality and aesthetics. The DT080 ramp profile used was the perfect solution to safely transition the entrance matting to the existing flooring, eliminating the requirement for a mat well. The DT080 frame also worked well with transitioning the timber floors in the dining area. AA252 were installed on all stairs ensuring the safety of patrons. Mars

Greenlane, Auckland

Situated on Auckland’s Great South Road, Central Park boasts more than 30,000m2 of office space, accommodating 45 tenants across multiple buildings.

The Mars building was gutted, stripped back to a raw structure and entirely reinstated and upgraded with new mechanical, electrical and data infrastucture. A section of the first floor was removed to add a stair case throughout the building’s center. CONNEXX Matting absorbs all dirt and debris and keeps the entrance area clean and tidy “A successful commercial space is one that both looks good and functions well” says RDT Pacific who led the building upgrade project for Mars at the Central Park Business Centre in Greenlane. Building 14 went under a complete renovation and entirely reinstated to accommodate for the Mars and Wrigley team. Connexx Matting in Maximus Black Mottled was used in the main entrance. Unlike traditional entrance matting, Connexx was easily cut into and around the angled pillars on site, avoiding any costly risks that custom made matting can impose. Tristram Clinic

Tristram Clinic provides specialist medical services in Hamilton, including plastic surgery, cosmetic surgery and dermatology.

The clinic moved location to new premises in April 2013, being the only complete medical and surgical center in the Hamilton and Waikato region. Avantidrome

Cambridge

The world class velodrome connected to world class facilities for BMX, road and mountain biking opened its doors in late 2013.

The facility is centered around the purpose built 250m wooden cycling velodrome and is host to a range of other high performance sport and community facilities. Surrounding the velodrome is a seating capacity of 1,500 seats, expandable to 4000 for major events, all accessed by stairs with Tredsafe AA123 stairnosing with Zebron Black insert. Zebron insert has a 13mm glow in the dark strip which ensures the safe navigation of stairs in dim or non existing lighting. Connexx entrance matting has been used in the foyer due to its high traffic flow durability. Monash University

Founded in 1958, Monash Clayton, the largest and original Monash site, was one of the first universities in the state of Victoria. It houses some of the Southern Hemisphere’s most advanced and specialised facilities, including the Monash University Accident Research Centre, Australian Stem Cell Centre and Australian Regenerative Medicinal Institute.

Monash is a public research university which has a number of campuses, four of which are in Victoria, and one in Malaysia. The brief for this new lecture theatre was to create a state-of-the-art space where students could both learn and study. A sunken centre gives the room the illusion of added space while setting it apart from the other rooms. The circular, recessed lecture area is carpeted, which means the step down is a trip hazard and therefore a safety issue. The client wanted to create a point of difference on the step and initially considered cutting the carpet and adding a contrasting colour at the butt joint. Finding a suitable material proved difficult and did not add any safety element to the design. After further consideration, the client chose Tredsafe’s AA125CN curved stair nosing with a light grey insert. The lecture floor’s size, a full 50 metres in circumference, limited their options; no other trim would work. “The benefit of using Tredsafe’s AA125CN was being able to curve it to the required shape and angle, removing the trip hazard completely.” Said Omnifloor Specialist Paul Miller, who completed the installation. Installation of the curved two-part profiles went smoothly. For this installation, AA125CN was installed over the existing carpet as a product solution for the customer, specific to their site requirements. The Monash lecture theatre is a high foot-traffic area. Tredsafe’s record for quality, low-maintenance and durable products made the client’s choice a no-brainer. AA125CN’s ease of installation also decreased the lead time of the project, providing winning solution for Monash University.

Snap Fitness is a privately owned and operated health and fitness club founded in 2003, headquartered in the US.

Tredsafe has been installed in many Snap Fitness locations to increase the safety aspect of the flooring, keeping gym users from tripping over raised edges. Stairnosing AA201 provides a safety edge solution to the rubber matting at Snap Fitness. Paired with Safety Red insert to match Snap Fitness’s branding, the aluminum nosing and anti slip insert provides a safe solution for capping the edge of the platform. ASB Centre

With the support of Tredsafe for this community based project, the ASB stadium had a range of products installed.

BR325, AA124 and Connexx Matting were used throughout the ASB centre. Connexx Matting in Black Mottled combines with ceramic tiles to create a real feature of the front entrance. Installed using ceramic tiles as the mat well, this creative design serves its safety purpose and was an effective way of laying out a sometimes boring but required element. BR325, Tredsafe’s brass nosing for carpet, was installed on the main stairs, giving a long wearing finish with a touch of glamour. AA124, an anodised aluminium nosing for carpet, was an economical choice used throughout the interior of the theatre, ensuring visitors get to their seats safety.
