Blue Day
Blue September New Zealand is the Prostate Cancer Foundation’s annual awareness campaign. More than 600 Kiwi men will die from prostate cancer this year and if you haven’t been directly affected by prostate cancer, you’re bound to know someone who has.Tredsafe was keen to support Blue September and we decided to have a Blue Do to directly help raise awareness and help eliminate death and suffering from prostate cancer. With a challenge set in place from head office, we were keen to win the free lunch by being the best team dressed in blue. 3 different shades of blue insert, blue decorations and costumes galore resulted in a very blue day in the office! Every cent raised during Blue September helps the foundation to provide support, campaign for greater awareness, advocate for better diagnosis, treatment outcomes and fund vital research.
